About Dr. Bacorn

Dr. Bacorn is an esteemed ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgeon who joins Klapper Eyelid & Facial Plastic Surgery with a rich background in medical excellence and patient care. His academic journey began at Rice University, where he completed his undergraduate studies in chemical engineering. He then pursued his medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of California-Davis, earning the role of chief resident.

Completing his specialized training, Dr. Bacorn was an oculoplastic fellow for two years at Johns Hopkins University and the prestigious Wilmer Eye Institute. His expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery, including the management of eyelid malpositions, cosmetic eyelid rejuvenation, treatment of eyelid and facial skin cancers, addressing lacrimal disorders, and dealing with orbital disease, eyelid and orbital trauma, and thyroid-related eye diseases.
